Oktoberfest Hays boasts a wide range of traditional food, music, and drink, giving residents and visitors a taste of Volga German heritage during the Fort Hays State University homecoming weekend.

Held at Municipal Park, the festival includes various activities and booths that provide food, crafts, beer and, musical entertainment.
 
Oktoberfest Hays is an annual event organized by The Volga German Centennial Association, established in 1974, which works to promote the heritage of the German immigrants in the region.
